What we offer
Our Nazareth Region
The Sisters of Nazareth own and operate four Nazareth Assisted Living Houses and one primary school throughout California. Our retirement homes are in west Los Angeles, Fresno, San Diego, and San Rafael; our Nazareth School is located in San Diego.
On entering any of our Houses, you feel peace, serenity, love and respect -- an experience appreciated by visitors, residents and staff.
Beautiful chapels, private rooms with en suite baths, well-appointed dining rooms, solariums, recreation/exercise rooms, coffee bars and many other amenities are available to residents and their guests.
The outside landscapes were designed to offer the senses a wonderful treat . Residents enjoy strolling through our lush gardens, designed with walking paths that are dotted with comfortable seating alcoves. Water fountains bubble and splash, private patios make our houses perfect for relaxation and reflection.
We offer a variety of levels of care, depending on the wants and needs of our residents. Independent living is encouraged with end-of-life care support offered through Hospice.
Respect is afforded to all residents and staff at all Nazareth Houses. Our staff lives our Core Values: Patience, Love, Justice, Peace, and Hospitality. We provide a positive and holistic approach in a pleasant and professional manner.
The spiritual well-being of our residents is an important part of our holistic approach. Our chapels are open to people of all denominations. They may go there to reflect, pray, attend Eucharistic Service, and participate in other religious services.
Services provided include physician visits, podiatry, and physical therapy as recommended by a senior's personal health professional. There is a Wellness Program for residents as well as staff at all four Nazareth Houses.
Benefactors are a vital part of our existence. Without their financial support, our Nazareth Houses would not as modern and beautiful as they are today!
