About the Village
Larmenier Village Cape Town (LVCT) is owned by the Poor Sisters of Nazareth. They established the Village in order to provide funding for their charitable work. Nazareth House provides a loving and secure home environment for abandoned, neglected, disabled and orphaned children as well as a last resting place for children with terminal conditions. Nazareth House also provides residential care for frail aged men and women in desperate need.
The Victoire Larmenier Foundation (VLF) based in Pretoria, acts as the financial bridge between the Nazareth Houses and the Larmenier Villages. The VLF consists of 9 trustees, 5 Sisters and 4 lay people, with the Sisters having a deciding vote. The VLF meets quarterly.
The Village allows pets in the form of one small dog or one cat.
