Forty Hours in the Chapel
For the first time in many years, Nazareth House Cardiff, in conjunction with the University Catholic Chaplaincy, hosted the Quarant 'Ore, a period of prayer and reflection for 40 hours, during which on the Saturday night, over one hundred young people responded to personal invitations from Catholic students who stood in the streets to welcome them into our church, to light a candle, write a prayer, sit quietly or join in the songs of the student music group.

Attended by Archbishop George Stack, The Dean of Cardiff Cathederal, The Dean of Llandaff Cathederal, The Vice Chancellor of the Cardiff University, Fr. Gareth Jones, University Chaplain and Chaplain to Nazareth House Cardiff. During the service a collection was made for Llamau, which supports vulnerable young people facing homelessness and abuse. The magnificent service was followed by scrumpcious homemade minced pies and mulled wine.
