How you can help
As most of the people we care for are the poorest of the poor, the destitute, the homeless and children without families of their own, Nazareth House is hugely appreciative of the compassionate assistance from individuals and companies who contribute financially and in other ways to meet the monthly funding requirements. Although Nazareth House does receive some subsidisation, this does not cover the ongoing costs, so these donations are essential to keep our doors open.
We feel that caring for the elderly is a privilege as each one has made a valuable contribution to society in his or her own way. Many of our residents are wheelchair bound, blind and/or deaf and suffer from dementia, diabetes or hypertension.
